Mellissa Ilgen, DDS Dr. Mellissa Ilgen is originally from Colorado where she earned her Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University of Colorado, School of Dental Medicine. She relocated to Seattle, Washington after living and practicing in Singapore for three years and is now happy to call Kitsap County her home. Dr. Ilgen has always believed that being a dentist is not simply about fixing teeth, but about treating the whole person and ensuring they receive the optimal care necessary to maintain a beautiful, healthy smile for life. She understands that the dental experience can often be challenging for many; she applies a caring and empathetic approach to her patients within a relaxed and comfortable environment. Dr. Ilgen wants you to become a patient for life! Dr. Ilgen is always looking for ways to give back within her community, she has participated in dental mission trips to serve those in need, and volunteers for the Seattle King County Clinic.  In her spare time, Dr. Ilgen enjoys spending time with her family. Some of their favorite family activities include boating, hiking, biking, skiing, and camping. Her absolute passion is traveling and exploring new places. She believes that true clinical excellence is achieved through a lifelong dedication to education and has completed several hundred hours in continuing education. She is also a member of the American Dental Association, Washington State Dental Association, and the Kitsap Dental Association. |
